Mental note of today

- Gemuk gedempol, menyusahkan orang, sup hanyir,  besar kepala,  tak bahagia,  sakit keeping manis, rasa diri bagus.Okay noted.

Alhamdulillah, she remembered!

So I came back home yesterday, thinking my wife totally have forgotten about my birthday. As I opened the door, she and my little boy surprised me with those party sprays and a slice of cake. I cried reading the note that come along with the present. I sticked it on the fridge as soon as possible. I hugged and thanked both of them. We had our dinner. I am happy!

My birthday is today... so what

So today, 26 January is my birthday. I got like hundreds of wishes on FB. thank you. It's the thought that counts. But I am still waiting the wish from my wife. I hope she remembers. Early in the morning Nintendo gave me that wallpaper as a birthday gift. Later today am booting my MGS V,  to get that secret birthday message from Venom Snake.

Another stressful day tomorrow

Roti Canai Hunter

It's Sunday morning and typically for a Malaysian family, roti canai is a breakfast. So took the little tyke along, armed with RM20 and his Nintendo 3DS, we are hunting for a good roti canai. 
Arrived at D'Mamak Corner Melawati just now. Ordered our roti canai.  The waiting game begins.

I Am A Hypocrite

Okay I just got my Hasbro Protectorbots,  also known as, Defensor.  I was contemplating to get this guy after Menasor and Superion,  mixed feeling I guess. But overall,  it's a nice figure if you are fond of Transformers Combiner Wars line.

However, the reason I am writing today is to admit that I am a Hypocrite. There, I said it. Why is that? Okay,  all this while I am chanting about being a G1 purist. So a friend asked me why I didn't get the Takara version that comes with the original member Groove instead of the updated member, Rook.

Bottom is Takara's Unite Warrior, Defensor. Notice it's right leg, Groove. The motorcycle, faithful to its G1 counterpart.  Personally for me, that would be correct if you set the scenario in the 80s as during those days,  a police convoy would include a patrol motorcycle. Just look at those 80s policy TV series.  Fast forward to now, that is not the case anymore. Rook is a SWAT attack vehicle. He is relevant with the current team.

Ok ok, I admit it. I have issues with small limbs. And motorcycles that are bigger than cars.

Jakarta Has Fallen

Apparently just now, Jakarta was bombed. The exact location is Sarinah Mall. Now I wonder whose passport will be discovered at the scene of the crime. And one of my, associate can laugh at this. Dunno but you buddy, but dead people, is serious business. There is a place and time to be funny. Your kampung(hillbilly)  antiques shows your mentality. More news to follow. #prayforjakarta

Am Quitting Facebook.... slowly

It seems that I have lost all freedom posting there. Too many friends, colleagues,  family members etc. My Facebook has always been mine, but I have to be careful on what I post.

That's totally whacked. Nowadays Facebook has become that unstoppable social media behemoth. Too public, too big. And like you, I don't know 90% of the dudes on my friend list. Most of them have the same passion like mine, video games and collecting Transformers, and that's that.

So from now on, I will write, moan, complain, bitch here in my own blog.  Thank you.
